Beloved in Christ,

I am very glad to update you with all that has been happening in our ministry once again.

After my arrival in Pittsburgh in the first week of December 2008, we continued to hold our Solid rock fellowship meetings in our residence on alternative Tuesdays.

My wife Sucila Prabhu was organizing the meetings in my absence along with Bro.Shelley and Bro.Alwin who helped her to continue the works of God.

Christmas 2008

On 17th December, we celebrated the Christmas service in a community hall attended by more than fifty people.

The Choir sang some special Christmas carol songs in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam and in English as well. Many others sang special songs in that festive occasion.

The Lord spoke to us about surrendering and submitting our thoughts, plans and our lives unto him as Mary  surrendered herself  totally to the will of God ‘s plan in giving birth to Jesus .

The message was recorded and broadcast on Salvation tv in Tamil Nadu, India.

Our NLF friends Bob Gigliotti, Calvin and Connie also participated in our Christmas program and sang songs.

New year special meeting

We also conducted the New Year Tamil service at our home on 1^st January evening at my residence in Pittsburgh. The Lord spoke to us again reminding us not to forget the great things he has done in the past and to commit ourselves to draw nearer and nearer to Him in the New Year. He gave a promising word from Isa 58:11 for this New Year!

“The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones, you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”

We had special Prayer fellowship on the 8^th of January. Pastor Kevin, Bro. Tracy from Brisbin, PA and Bob Gigliotti of NLF joined us. Pas Kevin who led a wonderful Mission team to Vellore, India  delivered the Message of God which was strengthening and challenging to all of our believers who gathered in our residence on that day.

Ministry in New life Fellowship Church, Pittsburgh.Pa.

I was invited by Pastor Chris Mays of New Life Fellowship Church, Pittsburgh, PA to present my Ministry trip to Switzerland, United Kingdom and India from July until November 2008 and to share the word of God on the 8^th of February. It was a great previlage for me to present the five months ministry trip along with the Message of God in the NLF Fellowship church, Pittsburgh.

Ministries in Toronto- Canada. (14^th Feb-22^nd Feb)

On 13^th Feb, I began my journey to Toronto, Canada to minister in various churches and fellowships. At first, I had the privilege to minister in the church of Toronto Harvest Mission Tamil church and then in Scarborough for three days from Saturday 14^th to 15^th February. This church is shepherded by Pastor Vincent Sagayanathan, a young and dynamic person.

On 14^th Feb, I had the great opportunity to join with the prayer team of 15 believers in a van for a “prayer ride” around the city for the souls to be harvested. It was a great experience to go with the prayer warriors to bind the demonic forces working against the community, especially the youth. We went around some areas of the city from 11 a.m. to 2p.m. Then in the same evening, I ministered in their branch church.

The next morning, I delivered the message and shared my testimony in the Bible study as well as in the main church service that was attended by four hundred believers.

That evening, I spoke in another branch church of TMHT Church. Pastor Vincent Sagayanathan and his family showed wonderful hospitality and took care of me while I stayed with them for the first three days.

From 16^th Feb to 22^nd Feb, I stayed with Bro Varghese’s family.  I was so joyful to meet them after five years. As a family, they were also persecuted for Christ in Jeddah, K.S.A. in the year 2007 (detained with three children for five days in the deportation camp.)

They were our real spiritual family friends in all the ways while we were in Jeddah, K.S.A. On 16^th Feb, I was sharing my testimony with the message of God in their Fellowship which was held from 10 am until 1pm. There I met other two families who knew me while we were in Jeddah. Bro Raju and Bro Chacko and their families showed their love and hospitality by inviting me for the dinner and prayer meeting in their homes,.

Then on Wednesday 18^{th Feb} I ministered in a cell group of Pastor. Ruben David.  After having cell meetings with the Malayalam Pentecostal fellowship for another three days I had the privilege to minister in the Zion Pentecostal fellowship in the Sunday service on Feb 22nd, which is shepherded by Pastor Sam Daniel.

He is another great man of God who was the channel in helping our fourteen families who were going through severe financial crisis while we were in the Saudi Arabian prison for 7 months. Also he was a servant of God who was imprisoned for secret Christian activities in Riyadh, KSA.

It was such a great joy to meet him and to minister in his church. I met some more believers who were in Saudi Arabia while I was there.

In the same evening, I was invited by Pastor Cherubim, an experienced and great servant of God to minister in his church. It was a very touching and challenging ministry for those who attended that service.

I reached Pittsburgh safely on 23^rd Feb. I want to thank Pastor Vincent Sagayanathan, Bro Varghese family, Bro Chacko, Bro Raju, Pastor Sam Daniel, Pastor Ruben David, Pastor Manohar , Pastor Cherubim and Bro Martin and their families for all their love, care, concern and hospitality during my 11 days ministries in Toronto.

May the Lord bless them in multiple folds for the honor they showed on a servant of God.

Ministry  in  Maryland (27^th Feb-2^nd March.)

On the 27^th of Feb I travelled to Maryland,  at the invitation of Pastor Johnson Raju and ministered in his church on 1^st March in the Sunday service and in the branch church at Fairfax, Virginia.

I was also able to take part in the monthly Thirappin Vaasal fasting prayer meeting at Bro Mani’s residence on 28^th Feb Saturday morning. I shared the word of God with brief testimony.

Meanwhile, the Lord enabled me to meet our old family friends Mrs and Mr.Prince prem and Bro Suresh Wales and his family. I was invited to their homes and had wonderful fellowship with them.  

Ministries in Vellore, India.

Meanwhile, our ministries including  our five churches in and around Vellore, India are going well. Our close servants of God are taking care of the churches and continuing the ministries for the glory of God. Many new souls are added in our main church at Katpadi (Solid rock prayer house) and in our branch churches as well.

All our sermons and songs are broadcast on “Salvation tv” regularly and are reaching thousands of souls in Tamil Nadu (EST 10 p.m.to 10.30.p.m.on Fridays.)

We thank God for the marvelous works he is doing in our lives and ministries. We thank you for your prayers and all the support you have rendered to us to continue the ministries in establishing and expanding the kingdom of God.

At this time, since our need is increasing as we continue to reach out to more and more souls, once again I request you to support us financially as much as you can.

Above all, we need your earnest prayers for our ministries and my family.

Prayer requests:

1.       Please pray for my upcoming ministries in Toronto, Canada on 21st March and 22^nd March.

2.       Please pray for the Special Praise and worship and revival festival which we are going to organize on April 3^rd in Pittsburgh. Pastor Alwin Thomas, the anointed worship leader from Chennai, India will be our Guest speaker on that day.

3.       Please pray for my ministry in the 7 hours Praise and worship service along with Pastor Alwin Thomas which is organized by Pastor Johnson Raju in Maryland on 4^th March.

4.       Finally pray for my daughter Joanna’s wedding that is fixed for 29^th May in Chennai, India. Please pray for the Lord’s blessings, guidance and provisions for the wedding ceremony.

5.       Please pray for the fresh anointment of the Holy Spirit, my health and travel mercies wherever I go for ministries.

6.       Please pray for my wife’s health, stable job position and for my son Benjamin’s Medical studies to be completed successfully in the end of this year.

7.       Many beloved friends are laid off recently because of the Economic crisis. Please pray that they would find better jobs and for their families.

May the Lord touch the leaders of the world to walk and administer biblically in the fear of God.

Also pray for the Christian leaders, pastors and other outreach ministries, especially for the persecuted Christians and for the Gospel doors to be opened in the Islamic and communist nations.

August 2008 - Switzerland

These are the people delivered by so many bondages and stregnthened and blessed by my ministries in Engelberg camp, Switzerland.

The lady who was delivered from the clutches of the evil spirit, with her husband and children came and shared thier testimony.

Beloveds in Christ,

My greetings to you in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  By God's abundant grace and  your prayers,  my ministries in Switzerland went on very well.

After the flight's delay in Pittsburgh due to the bad weather in Chicago and further cancellation of the connecting flight, I landed in Basel Mulhouse, Switzerland on 4^th of July.

Pastor Arunachalam, the chief pastor of Gerzim church warmly received me and took me to his home.

I was invited as a special speaker to preach and teach in an Annual Bible camp which is usually conducted during the summer holidays. The interesting part is that the parents are also allowed to take leave from their work during their children's summer holidays. The summer Bible camp of this church had been organized in a beautiful location called "Engelberg" (town of angels).

The camp was conducted in a three storey building campus which was surrounded by the beautiful green Alp Mountains and ice capped hills. The camp started on 5^th July at 6p.m. with "welcome service". I shared the word of God on the topic "The joy and goodness of united fellowship of the believers" based on Psalm 133 and Acts Chapter 2. Then from 6^th July until 11^th July, we had 14 sessions totally. I shared my testimony with message in the Sunday worship service on 6^th July. People were touched and challenged by it. I also preached about the "Need of Steadfastness in the important areas of Christian life"

I spoke in six sessions on this topic. Many believers took strong decisions in their walk with Christ to be strong and steadfast Christians.

Before preaching on the next topic "The basic principles to have the victorious Christian life, I was requested to talk about the Anointment (Baptism of the Holy Spirit) and lead the gathering to receive it. There was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit after my message.

The Believers were refreshed and new believers received the anointment of the Holy Spirit powerfully. The Holy Spirit of God manifested wonderfully in different forms of gifts to some believers while I was laying hands on them and prayed for the fresh anointment of it.

Following this service, I prayed for deliverance from sickness and the evil spirit's possessions. A young Hindu Sister who is married and is a mother of two kids was possessed by the demonic spirit for about six months and she received deliverance from the Lord so wonderfully. She came to the Bible camp, expecting her deliverance from the Lord and she got it.

While I was praying in the Healing service, she was dancing like a snake. I strongly believed that the devil that came in the form of the cunning serpent in the Garden of Eden possessed her. She was delivered in the healing service.

At the same time, for her complete deliverance, we wanted to visit her house and remove all the idols from her house which was in Zurich, Swiss. After the camp, along with Pastor Arunachalam and the elders, I went to her home. Her husband, though he was a Hindu, co-operated fully with us. We went to her house and prayed by nullifying the power of the demonic spirits by the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus. Finally we removed all the idols and statues from their home. And it was then that we found out the idol of snake image which had been preserved by them as an important deity. We removed and finally bundled and destroyed it in the name and blood of Jesus.

The next evening, they as a family (with two small boys) came to the Wednesday service and shared a wonderful testimony. Sister Jeyakanthi’s (the woman who was delivered) face was shining with Joy. She said that the darkness has gone away and they were able to see and feel the presence of brightness after our visit and prayers at her home. Some Hindu friends who attended these meetings were also testifying about the healings of their mind, body and soul which they received after this service.

There was another great event had happened in the lives of a couple. Actually as Hindus they had been attending the church services for few months with less knowledge of the gospel. Before this camp, the lady Mrs Ravindra Devi accepted Christ as her personal savior and was in decision of taking water baptism during this Bible conference camp. Third day of the camp was chosen by the organizers for the new believers to be baptized. But the lady who was supposed to come and take the water baptism, had confusions and depression due to some family problems. She was in great depression and her face was swollen and gloomy with clouds of worries and confusions.

Her husband testified that while they were planning to come to this camp, they started quarreling unexpectedly without any proper reason, and due to that she ran across the street towards a speeding car to commit suicide. But thank God! Since the driver (an act of God!) applied the break and stopped the car, she had a great escape from the instant death. Then both of them realized that this was the work of the devil to stop them from attending the camp and taking baptism. So they have decided to attend the camp somehow, no matter what obstacles the devil might bring. At last they arrived on the previous evening of baptism service by the grace of God after driving for three hours from their home.

That night, Pastor Arunachalam requested me to give counseling and to teach about the need of water baptism and its truth. I explained to at least four people about the Gospel and the need of identifying with Christ through water baptism. In fact, only two ladies were ready to take water baptism.  But the husband of one sister Bro Markandu was not yet ready to take a decision for the covenant with God through baptism. But, the next morning both husband and wife's faces were seen with radiance of real joy and peace.

So the couple Brother Markandu with his wife Sister Ravindra devi and another sister Jeyanthi were baptized that day. Indeed it was not only for us, but it was a great moment of joy for the heavenly hosts as well. Truly it was a great miracle in the lives of this couple. I thanked God for using me as an instrument to counsel them and help them to make the most important commitment with God.

Let all the Glory be to the Lord Jesus alone!

On the final day, on 11^th July , there was a session of  "Testimonies and Thanks giving." Around 15 people shared their testimonies before the congregation at the end of this camp, saying that they had been blessed, encouraged, empowered, renewed, refreshed and restored in their spiritual life by the word of God , my testimonies and by the teachings of the Bible camp. Many have taken fresh decisions in their Spiritual life.

After coming back from Engelberg where this Bible camp was held, I began to continue my ministries in a city called "Volten,” from the 12^TH of July. I stayed with Mr Edison and his family. Bro.Edison had arranged a cottage meeting in his house on 12^th evening. I preached in the branch church of Gerzim in Volten in the Sunday service on 13^th of July. I spoke in the  family  service,  women's fellowship and  among  Children and Youth.

Honestly I know that it was not only a blessing for them  but for me too. Because, when I saw that they were revived and restored by the messages of God, I was thanking God for the blessings that he has poured on me and using me as a small instrument in His hand.

On 19^th July, I went to a city called”Bern" to minister in another branch church of Gerzim. A big movie theater has been converted into a church now. The Tamil worship services are conducted regularly every Saturday evening. I preached there for two services.  Bro Babu and family took care of me very well.

After ministering there, I was back to the city 'Volten' on 27^th July. The last service in Volten was conducted as a Gospel and Deliverence meeting". Many Hindu friends were also invited by the Pastor and elders of Gerzim church. I led the Praise and worship service and delivered the Gospel message, based on Luke 4 "The Spirit of God is upon me. To deliver the bounded—"After the message, when I gave the altar call, many stood up, raised their hands and surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

When I called for those who were suffering with various diseases and bound by sins, curses and witchcrafts they came forward and were delivered. I prayed for deliverance from barrenness. When I prayed for the healings, deliverances from various afflictions and bondages for the people, with power and authority in the Name of Jesus, many were healed from different afflictions.

The Lord did great miracles, signs and wonders in the lives of the believers in Basel, Volten, Bern and Zurich, Switzerland.

Yes, one Sister Malar who came with her family for the meetings  from  the border of Germany to Switzerland  by travelling  all the way to Volten for 3 hours called me while I was in London and told that her blood result came out as normal.

She was sharing in the phone as below:

 "Pastor, during the prayer of deliverance, I had requested you to pray for the medical query of leukemia in my body to not to be true and that I would be going for the final confirmation of my blood test the following day. The next day, when I went for the blood test, the Lord Jesus gave me a great result. There was nothing wrong in my blood. All the results showed negative and even earlier results that showed signs of Leukemia came out as ‘normal.’ This is purely by his grace and your prayers." She shared this as above and thanked God with tears of Joy.

I  received  another great miraculous news, that I heard  just after  two weeks of my departure from  Switzerland. Bro Selva and Mrs. Joyce Selva was the young couple who took care of me when I stayed in their house for about two weeks in 'Volten'. Joyce got married with Selva for about eight years and she never conceived a baby until July 2008. While I was staying with them, I was praying daily with them for the blessing of her womb with tears. I encouraged and told them that the Lord would definitely open the womb and remove all the obstacles in the way of their blessings.

On 10^th August morning, while I was in London, I received the great and amazing news from Brother Selva and Joyce. Yes! Bro. Selva said “Pastor. Prabhu, there is a Good news! Joyce is conceived now. We are so glad, we give thanks to our Merciful God for the miracle he did for us. Also our thanks for your prayers."

 I was so joyful and thanked God for hearing my prayers. What a Merciful prayer answering God we have! I remembered what I told them before my departure to London.  I prayed and told them that the Lord  would reward  and multiply their  blessings for all the good care, love that they had  shown on a servant of God while I stayed with them.

THANK God for answering the prayers in a miraculous way.

LET ALL THE BLESSING, HONOR AND GLORY BE TO THE LORD JESUS ALONE!

I thank him for using me as his humble instrument in His mighty hand.

After the wonderful ministries in Switzerland, on 28^th July, I flew from Basel, Switzerland to London, U.K. for the second leg of my mission trip for another three weeks.

I extend my special thanks and blessings to the families of Pastor. Arunachalam, Bro Dass, Bro Immanuel, Bro Joshua, Bro Ganesh , Bro Edison, Bro Babu, Mrs Ranjini, Bro Markandu and Bro.Selva for taking care and showing hospitality while I was invited by them in their homes.

May the Lord Pour out his abundant blessings upon them and multiply their rewards for their good works.

Also at this moment, I would like to extend all my thanks for the people of God who were upholding and supporting me through their earnest prayers.

My special thanks to Pastor Chris Mays and the New life Church members, our Solid rock  Fellowship in Pittsburgh,  PA, U.S.A. , other fellow servants of God of the Voice of the Solid rock ministry in Vellore and all the well wishers for their earnest prayers and encouragements.

Please continue to pray for my wife Sucila Prabhu who is the back bone of my ministries, my daughter Joanna and my son Benjamin also. Pray for my health, travel mercies and most importantly for the fresh anointment and power of the Holy spirit to be poured upon me, to bring glory to His name and extend His Kingdom on this earth.

Please pray for the remaining ministries in U.K. and India to be completed successfully for the glory of God. I will be flying to Chennai, India on 18^th August for three months stay and Ministries.

Dear Saints of God, 

I greet you all in the name of Jesus Christ. By the grace of the Lord, we are doing well. Our God is extending His kingdom through our Ministries. I would like to share with you some of our recent outreach activities.

After ministering powerfully in Switzerland, Wales, Scotland and England I returned to Vellore in August.

Even in my absence, the dedicated and committed associate pastors and elders have been serving God faithfully in our ministries. Now we have four associate pastors and six full time elders assisting our ministries.

 Through God's leading we started regular Sunday services since October in our Voice of the Solid Rock Prayer House in Vellore. We also have children's Bible School every Sunday in the evenings.

 Besides the Sunday services, we also have fasting prayer every Tuesday and a special revival meeting on every fourth Friday of the month where we have powerful preachers come and share the word of God. Along with these ministries, we do outreach for children in special homes. Every second Sunday, a special service is conducted by our elders to minister to the seniors in our church. Moreover, the Voice of the Solid Rock Ministry supports 18 widows from the surrounding villages spiritually and financially. 

Once in three months, we organize a free medical camp in many of the surrounding Hindu villages. In the mornings, the villagers come to receive free medical treatments and in the evenings, an open air gospel meeting is held to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to these unreached. 

On September 17, in a village called Periapudur, we were getting ready to start the foundation of a new church plantation in our property that we had bought many months ago. But in the last minute, some of the Hindu fanatics instigated the whole village to turn against us and we were faced with stiff opposition from them. So as of now the work has been temporarily stopped. But we continue to pray that God will work in their hearts and turn them around so that they will see the need for God's presence in their village. We request you to join with us in interceding for this village that God will breakthrough and perform a miracle. 

On September 18, 2008 we arranged for a free medical camp in a village called Kothakottai in the State of Andhra Pradesh. More than 200 people received free treatment from the dedicated medical team of Scudder Memorial Hospital. During this time, six missionaries from New Life Fellowship (NLF) church, Pittsburgh joined with us in praying for the sick and strengthening them through the word of God. Six villagers also benefited from free cataract operations and received clear sight. 

On September 19, we had a branch church dedication in Nellikuppam, another village in Vellore district. This small and beautiful church has become a blessing for many Hindus in that village. Robert Gigliotti one of our missionaries from NLF, Pittsburgh cut the ribbon and opened the church. On the same day, thirteen new souls in Christ came forward willingly for water baptism and have since then remained members of our church. Many Hindus continue to come to our church as the message of the gospel is preached to them. God is moving mightily in their families and His word builds them stronger to stand firm in their faith. The NLF team gave a special program and touched the hearts of the people through their choreography, skits, songs and the word of God that they shared. Pastor Colin D'Cruz, Chief Pastor of AFT brought the special word from God which was powerful and anointing of God filled the place. At the end of the service, many were delivered, healed and many others accepted Christ as their personal savior. Please pray for the growth and protection of this church. 

On September 20, the NLF team returned to US after two weeks of powerful and wonderful mission outreach among hundreds of families. On our way back to Vellore from the airport, soon after their departure, I met with a terrible accident that caused serious injuries to both my legs. There were deep cuts and I had eight stitches done. However, I rejoice in God my savior who did not allow a single bone in my body to be broken in spite of the seriousness of the accident. 

Because of God's abundant mercies and grace, the branch churches in Nellikuppam, Sipcot (Ranipet), Nararipettai and Kondakuppam are growing each day. Pastor Robert, brother Sasikumar and brother Samipillai are conducting Sunday services and special meetings in each of these villages. Moreover, they visit individual homes to evangelize to other villagers regularly. Reverend Joseph, Pastor Jayapaul, Pastor Masilamani, Brother Anandaraj, Brother Dayalan and Sister Rebecca are other elders and associates assisting our ministries. Continue to pray for them. 

From the first week of November, 2008 our programs are broadcast on Salvation TV every Saturday. It reaches thousands of people in Tamil Nadu and other places. We receive testimonies from many who have been blessed through our programs. Uphold this ministry in your prayers and support us kindly.

 On November 26, 2008 we held our annual Christmas charity program in Vellore. More than 100 people attended the program in a wedding hall despite heavy rains. Special praise and worship was conducted with the help of Christ is Life music group from Chennai led by Christian Kutty. Pastor Yashwant Kumar from Shekinah Prayer House, Bangalore and Pastor Rajkumar from London were our special guests for the day. Pastor Yashwant Kumar delivered the gospel of Jesus Christ in a powerful way. Children from our main and branch churches presented Christmas cultural program as many rejoiced and celebrated the birth of Christ with them. An MP3 audio CD of our songs and our ministry magazine were released on that day. We distributed around 65 sarees and 5 shirts for the elderly villagers. Around 100 children from our churches received educational toys as Christmas gifts.

 Till my return to USA on December 2, I continued to minister in several churches and ministries in New Life AG church (Saidapet), Voice of the Beloved (Ambattur), Kangeyam (Coimbatore dist.), Tirunelveli (Fort of Praise), Tuticorin (El Shaddai church), Nalamavadi in Thirappin Vasal with Brother Mohan C. Lazarus where more than 10,000 people attended and other parts of Vellore. I praise God that He enabled me to continue His work despite the injuries and the pain from the accident. God is good.

 We are praying and planning according to the leading of the Holy Spirit for further expansion of God's kingdom. We desire your precious prayers for our ministries. Please uphold this ministry though your sacrificial offering too as the Spirit of God leads you.

 Prayer requests:

·                         Intercede for the village of Periapudur that the eyes of the villagers will be opened to see the truth and that we would be able to go ahead with building the church without anymore opposition from them. Pray for a breakthrough and a miracle.

·                         Please pray for the growth and protection of our main Voice of the Solid Rock church in Vellore

·                         Pray for the growth and protection of our branch churches in Nellikuppam, Sipcot (Ranipet), Nararipettai and Kondakuppam.

·                         Pray for the associate pastors and elders of our ministry and their families that God will bless their families and give them wisdom and guidance to continue this ministry faithfully.

·                         Pray for the new souls who have come into our church and for many more to accept Christ and be baptized into His kingdom.

·                         Pray for our Broadcast ministries on Salvation TV and Blessing TV and our media ministries.

·                         Continue to pray for our needs and our family's protection and blessings.
